A while back, I had a dream in which I saw something similar to many paintings of the beatific vision without seeing them before that. I do not know how to feel about it.

In that dream, I looked up and saw that, and I was at the bottom of a pit. I had a sword, there was a man on his knees in front of me. I had killed him, and everyone and everything above me retreated back behind a ledge and into the shadows behind them. I did not feel guilt, nor did I feel sorrow. It felt right.

That dream has bothered me for over a month now.
