Basically she threw a temper tantrum in the car like a child on a family trip, and I'm still living at home because my state is unlivably expensive and my mother's a bit of a psycho and tries to hobble me as much as possible to keep me from leaving because I'm the only one in the house who puts up with her shit, but the tantrum set me off and some parental wrath came out and I shouted her down into silence, which her being a stereotypical loud latin mother was no small feat

It did not help that I called her on every bit of her childish behavior and her unceasing mouth

She has been steaming since and taking it out on my poor sister
