the KJV will one day cease to exist
it's ok as a classical translation for its language most of the time
Like, formal english contexts KJV is ideal because it's universal in a sense
But for purposes of study it's one of the worst translations considered orthodox by any large group of christians

My native version is DdB Jerusalem bible
I'm a big fan of the ESV for readability
Because I speak Spanish
But DRA seems better than KJV in translation
ESV is easily the best modern english translation, DRA is good but archaic in some senses, I'd recommend it for the deuterocannon

There's an English version as well, I've seen copies floating around illustrated by Salvador Dali so I assume it was a Spanish translation primarily though

@MawLr The problem with this one, I have noticed, is that some parts are translated with the jewish masoteric texts.
So in a psalm, for example, it reads "you opened my ears" instead of "you gave me a body"
And which bible do you recommend
I guess that one is ok beyoind this. Right now I'm also reading one edited by the "San Pablo" editorial, though I don't know if it has a name even
