which is subjective
either way lol
some judgements *can be* objective
Right
Regardless, my case works in the case of 'reasoning'
many people would come to the conclusion that not all religious people are brainwashed
therefore it is not objective
1 + 1 = 2 is subjective, opinion is not relevant
for example
Depends on what the terms can be extrapolated to mean
so, it is an opinion of individuals that religious people are brainwashed
not an objective fact
in order for that to be objective, you'd need to disprove the existence of a creator without a reasonable doubt
misguided is, in my opinion, a more appropriate word
Yes but to the extent towards the right facts are deployed it can be stated that those who are worshipping gods are making an error of judgement as they believe that there is fact showcasing the existence of god when there isn't fact to show that this fact is linked to the existence of god.
And no
That's not how the burden of proof works
neither side can prove or disprove
Which is why I never claim god doesn't exist
there really is no possibility of a burden of proof
Why so?
because neither side has the ability to prove their side or disprove the other side
Why do they lack this ability?
it's not a worthwhile argument to have
What makes it not worthwhile?
I claim it is misguided; 'an error of judgement' to assume that there are facts pointing towards the objective existence of god, worshipping is an act derived from belief in the conditioned existence of god, I question why people should be conditioned to such a belief?
prove to me that God doesn't exist
you can't, just like I can't prove that He does
I can't because I lack the evidence
not because I lack the ability
I have the tools to do so
no evidence = no ability to disprove
In the same way you can't disprove the tooth fairy, but I suppose this is another opinion.
do you, though? Nobody has disproven the existence of God
You might
you might not
🤷
Well they have disproved the Abrahamic god's capacity for all-power, all-knowledge, all-mercy
with respect, that's word salad lol
I assume you're familiar with the 'god can't create a rock that he can't move'
