What do you do with people you meet everyday

Like I meet to work

I say goodmorning, they say morning back

And I just start my pc

...you don't need to say anything more?

and there can go fucking hours without a single word

if they don't approach you themselves it's fine to just stay quiet

So people don't find it weird that you don't say anything?

you say good morning, and if they try to force a conversation you say "I have work to do"

i talk when it's needed or i want to say something

What if you want to make friends?

You do that in breaks or what

then i skip the small talk

i see someone talking about something im interested in, i approach them

and ask about it

I don't have many friends, but those that are my friends are good friends

people who have the same interests as me are usually spergs, so no interest in making friends

there's also this to consider

i've got 8-ish good friends and many more friends i don't see every day

I have like one friend, who barely talks because busy with work.

I have around 5

The thing is, I want to make friends

But everyone around me either talk about fortnite, dota, smoking weed or fucking 9gag.

I thought that since I would be working in IT, I would have someone to actually talk about it.

But if they talk about IT, they would talk about "muh graphics cards, muh processors look at my RAZER NAGA"
