@porco what makes it different

2017-08-20 06:13:29 UTC

@kaetaa#1570 usually night markets are not a tourist attraction. they're street markets during night time. mostly unregulated, chaotic, crowded and loud. But a nice source for great food and "weird" things. Also on big night markets in Taipei you'll find half of AliExpress being sold on the street. Hualien's night market is a tourist attraction. It's very regulated, streets are wide, 99% is food and there are singers and other performers to entertain. While it's more comfy, the regulation and organization let it lose a lot of actual night market spirit in my opinion

is this the new kit kat of flavours?

2017-08-20 12:23:55 UTC

what was the light green one, mint?

2017-08-20 12:35:27 UTC

It's "mildly sweet", because people here have a lower tolarance for sugar than the west

2017-08-20 12:39:23 UTC

the original flavor is too sweet for some people, so they have the "mildly sweet" version

2017-08-20 12:44:30 UTC

exactly @red

2017-08-20 12:44:39 UTC

everything here is not so sweet compared to the western version

2017-08-20 12:46:15 UTC

erhua was a mistake

2017-08-20 12:48:24 UTC

i want to try feeding my family the type of cakes i ate in america

2017-08-20 12:48:39 UTC

might need to prepare puke buckets

2017-08-20 12:49:38 UTC

my gf doesn't eat any kind of western sweets. It's absolutely impossible to enjoy a piece of cake or similar with her in Europe. As soon as something contains sugar, she literally spits it out again instantly and says that it disgusts her

2017-08-20 12:50:08 UTC

she says every sweet in Europe tastes the same because she's only able to taste the sugar

2017-08-20 12:50:21 UTC

lmao

2017-08-20 12:50:36 UTC

i used to be similar but america broke my tastebuds

2017-08-20 16:28:01 UTC

Disgusting

2017-08-20 16:28:52 UTC

Caramel FUCKING PRINGLES?

2017-08-20 16:28:59 UTC

WHAT

2017-08-20 17:23:06 UTC

If sugar cane can't grow in the area then the people won't love sugar. Something like that.

2017-08-20 19:09:21 UTC

used to have sugar cane juice all the time as a kid so i dunno about that

2017-08-20 19:09:32 UTC

2017-08-20 19:22:15 UTC

2017-08-20 23:00:23 UTC

yes sugar cane juice is sold at every corner

2017-08-20 23:04:30 UTC

also northern europe sweets are really sweet and they don't have sugar canes natively

2017-08-21 08:29:54 UTC

that plebbitor tho says he goes to beijing, which is basically the zerg mothership of chinklings. metropolitan people are always like that. lefty joe rogan says like we're made to live in a community of up to 500 people.
