But it's a tiny island. You can reach all those spots easily as a day trip
renting a car?
Like if you stay in Taipei, you can have day trips to all of those places except for Kenting
No, public transport
The HSR brings you from the top of the island to the bottom in a few hours and the last train departs Kaohsiung really late, I think around 23
i was curious if it'd be a viable option
I wouldn't rent a car in Taiwan, highway is limited to 110 km/h and people drive like they don't care about their own lives
Ah so exactly like Chinkland
how do you think I feel now, planning a trip in the middle of term time <:thonk:288060975775612929>
And if you are a weeb and you like ghibli, visit jiufen, which is the town that inspired "spirited away"
I am on my phone, I can upload some of my photos of jiufen tomorrow.
It's also worth a visit if you stay in Taipei
So with like 1300aud+flight money I can live like a king in Taiwan for a couple weeks
850eur or so
So the key to having a good time is to meet a girl there online, sleep at her place and have her show you around and then leave before it gets serious
Flights should be cheap cause I live literally next door
yes Turbo, that's just called being a Chad
I could just say that my grandma is about to die and then change phone numbers and use a burner email for when I get back
ez pz
@Deleted User if you're a Chad, yes. If you're me, you end up having a year of long distance relationship and eventually take her to your country for an ongoing 4+ years relationship
Because I'm a beta
kek
nono
I already have a girlfriend so that wouldn't fly
being white from a rich country helps a lot, even if you need to commit
Ah well, could always try to make it work
Found those two photos of jiufen on my phone still
That was in Ikea Kaohsiung
It stood there like that, no one cared
looks cozy
>going to ikea on holidays though
no wonder she figured she was going to be your serious girlfriend.
Ikea Taiwan has steel chopsticks
I needed them
Oh shit
I went the week after school started there
So nothing was packed
