I mean i see the point of living in korea -> learn proper korean, but geez
>school director
don't move to china, lads
go live in taiwan
its like china but actually good
or if you just want asian, go live in thailand.
is it that bad
yes
it is
Taiwan is really nice too though
I'm so close to leaving China that I'm literally shaking
You too? Lol
I get to leave for 6 weeks at the end of this month. In literally counting the days
Why? Shouldn't you guys have some pretty western positions jobs?
Or is it just the different culture?
I work for a US company remotely
So that's fine
Not to reiterate what we've all talked about for the past year, but the sum it up: Chinese culture is literally the opposite of most western countries, and it's encouraged to lie cheat and steal to get ahead.
Gets pretty frustrating to live around people who have no common courtesy and treat strangers like garbage.
Which isn't to say China doesn't have good stuff.
Most of the Chinese food is pretty good.
And no, 98% of foreigners in China who are working are English teachers.
I need to finish my project and then hand my 30 day notice
need to look for a new jerb though but at least no china
I learned a new term
What does it mean?
Eating western sausage
How do you pronounce them?
@kaetaa Sorry, I just recently took up activity in this discord.
I know that the Chinese have a miserable/selfish culture, but my experience only includes Taiwanese and Koreans.
Those were nice people imo.
>eating western sausage
Chink insults = best insults
@Sdeck37 have you read the stories by the translator working with steel?
chinese are the second most oppressed asians
right behind best korea
I secretly do hope that the steel story was real
It's totally plausible for chinese
@transience were you familiar with this insult?
sadly never been in a context to hear such an insult
