My laptop has a sticker of Taiwan flag

I told my old co-worker I liked Taiwan more than China and she said "that's offensive"

And I tried to explain to her that people can have their own opinions

And she wasn't having any of it

The idea is to pretend that China is the best in the world even if you don't agree

They will shit all over the entire world in their nightly news (that gets broadcast on every channel at night...you can't avoid it)

And just talk big about China and how great China is and everyone thinks China is great and loves them

My fiancees dad will say shit like "xi (president of China) is the best man in the whole world"

"Kim Jong in is great. I wanna visit North Korea"

They have no idea what's going on in North Korea. I tried to tell them, they said I was lying. I showed them videos and photos. Said they were fake

I don't tell them the truth anymore because they just want to live in blissful ignorance

They think people don't critsize China on the news because there's nothing to criticize

I said no because it's illegal they will fucking kill you
