It bothers me when chinks pretend to care about one thing but it's really about something else. Like chinks don't use AC often because they don't like cold and don't want to spend money, but they will say "oh it's for the environment "
Or they say the grandma's who dig thru trash are doing a public service to the community , but they make things worse
I understand they are being optimistic
And I can appreciate that
But I've seen how nasty their hearts are and the real intentions are there
I've only met one chink who actually cared about the environment
And was honest about it and the other trash in China
At this point I think the government cares more about the environment than the people
No there is a specific logo on the bottles in Germany
And only with that logo, you get money for recycling
same here
Ah but they will still take it, but no money?
In Switzerland, you can recycle everything in general, but you don't get money
Nope, there are two standards
If it's neither one, it goes into the trash
No in Germany they don't take it at all
pay 10 extra cents for every bottle when buying, get it back when you recycle
25 in Germany i think
Right?
If you collect enough you can get some bucks for Dutch beer cans though
25 on large, 15 on smaller bottles, 8 on glas bottles
Though they wanna raise the last one
and on the box you also get something, I remember that was a lot
the "Kasten" of beer
Yes
But I always forget about it
Should be like 1, something
There was a Christmas market in Freiburg that asked 5 Eur for a glass bottle of Rothaus and gave you a 2.50 Eur paper sheet with written Pfand on it
I bought one, copied the paper sheet, took all my glass bottles from home...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Having huge Pfand is kinda "usual" for such kind of markets, not sure why
it's like asking to be scammed

So you can't recycle bottles from outside at all?
In Berlin
no you can I think
you cant recycle bottles from outside germany
to be fair, we separate our trash into 4-5 different bins already by default (for general recycling)
what they are talking about is getting cashback for recycling
foreign bottles who are not part of the cashback system just go in the appropriate bin, i.e. plastic or glass
