Food safety in China isn't that good from what I hear, but even here in Canada I've managed to get sick just by eating at the wrong restaurant.

Again, you can get food poisoning from anywhere

Rats in restaurants aren't just a chink luxury

No amount of regulation gets the risk to 0

And it was even from a restaurant with an OK reputation

Basically their supplier sold them bad meat and they didn't smell it because it was pre-seasoned

Taiwan McDonald's has really nice iced black tea and rice burgers
