and even in london it's shit
trains never on time, carriages filthier than literal third world country
Same in Germany, everyone's just using a car
i'm moving to Calgary soon and the transit isn't bad, they have a train running straight through the entire city
but it gets japan level packed
god forbid you get one of the old models with no AC in the summer
AC seems to be a meme for farangs in thailand
AC itself is okay but they crank it all the way up to make whiteys feel at home and it ends up being too cold if you're dressed for local climate

@transience yeah RIP
Why aren't there Tor exit nodes in China? China has so many people, so i was kinda surprised.
no english
firewall
That's kinda specific
I'd say "in Korean on Naver"
There should be some kind of anti spam call apps
I'd assume at least
Is it just the Three and O2 networks or are mobile data speeds seriously slow in the UK compared to even Thailand?
That's another thing I'll miss about asia
asian ppl need these speeds to upload selfies 24/7
Internet in the UK is probably poo because it was screwed over by a monopoly
UK has always had shit internet
for decades I had below 1mbps
500kbps
these days the average is 10mbps (2mbps) in normal neighbourhoods
i live in rural ireland and have 3mps
the whole of ireland is rural
I lived in rural shithole and had 2Mb/s at home until 2015
not fucking kidding
lived in the suburb and had 500kbps till 2013 and now 10mbps (2mbps)
@transience I've hit 115 Mbps on EE
Just sitting at home as well
Well on the BT plus package which gives you top speed 4G and double the data of your package
