but this one was in the exact place i wanted to live
I didnt know the job you got that got the rug pulled under you was a temp, if I had known that I would have warned you
and i can keep looking for a real permenent job while i do this one
especially when they go through HR firms
and also build contacts for private IT work
its a step above MLM
yeah i knew the risks
but was desperate to move
what MLM is to entry positions, temp is to intermediate or senior
they literally called on late friday afternoon while i was moving boxes into the house
they squeeze all the work out of you and can you after 3
and the job started monday
so since i went 2 weeks without working or getting paid i had to drain my savings account
so the first couple of paychecks after bills are going to replenish that
this was actually a temp job that found me
Im fortunate that Im so cheap that I could live 18 months on my Emergency Fund rn
I’m a photographer
Thinking about getting a real job tho
i still own my RV so that is the escape plan
because the rent here is 1300 plus utilities
Bad?
yuck, Im fortunate that I live downtown for less than a grand
yes
I’m doing okay
I book a year out
thats good
at least you got work
in kansas i was living on less than 500 a month for the condo
but kansas sucks dick
I prolly could live like that in wisco if I bit the bullet and bought a condo, but I dont want to be tied down here
i did the math and i'll be clearing almost 4000 a month after taxes and shit
so i'll be saving every penny assuming i'll get fucked eventually
at least if i work for a few months i'll be able to apply for unemployment in texas
more than me\
last time i was on unemployment i got 435 a week iirc
Leeroy Jenkems 2020
The winning move is to live on as little as possible whilst stack
living in the RV wouldn't work in kansas since it got cold and i'm not sure my "arctic package" would save the plumbing system
but here it would work fine
and most RV parks are 300 bucks a month
