yeah retail hardware are still open
I know off the top of my head that the brake pads on a cobra and GT of the same year are different due to a slight difference in the width of the rotor
so yeah I'd say there not universal
Yeah there are going to be standards
I've done my own oil, distributor cap and plugs, battery, muffler but never the brakes
Better to just get them done when you get tires rotated and balanced, then they're under warranty
Esp in awd vehicle, but if you burn through brakes anyway then maybe not

they had to run my model through the computer so yeah they aren't universal
I wish I could be cheap and not get new rotors, its a 13yo car
Keep it that way and you'll get a lot more life out of it
could've gotten drilled & slotted rotors along with ceramic pads on rock auto.
