The ubi video perpetuate s a false narrative (as did yang in the rogan interview). If people do not spend money on a "consumer" goods it doesnt do nothing. Are there people scrooge mcducking their money? No it gets invested. So if it gets put into stocks/bonds it becomes a loan to businesses who spend it on non consumer items. It still stimulates the economy. The narrative needs to stop because its intent feeds the villainisation of people who have accumulated wealth
