Are the mechanics in Cyberpunk better than in Shadowrun?

depends on what you want, and also which edition

shadowrun does more of a magic/tribal+cyberpunk blend. From what I understand, Cyberpunk is still exploitable but it's less about dice mountains

I really love the setting of Shadowrun, but I don't love it enough to run it myself, and I've accepted that I'll never find a GM to run it. What it comes down to is that I'm kinda looking for a system that I could adapt to the setting of Shadowrun.
