oh a Japanese knife.
What kind? What length?
I'll find out in a little bit. I need to filter through my Amazon purchase list.
I'm currently looking at new apartments with my friend.
@[DGI]tech Prison shanks are a right wing talking point invented by the gun lobby.
Also since prison inmates are disproportionately black thats racist.
😂
Did you buy an Amazon knife that came less sharp than you'd like @[DGI]tech ?
Sounds like he got himself some Mall Ninja shit
Nippon Steel, folded 6 gajillion times to purify it. Quenched in the tears of a virgin
@uncephalized It's a Tojiro DP Santoku 6.7" (17cm).
Also, no, it was insanely sharp initially.
It just has dulled because of my noob ass.

@[DGI]tech I'm happy to do it if you want to send it to me. It will be more of a hassle for you than taking it to someone locally, I'm sure--but I will guarantee it will be 'insanely sharp' again when it gets back to you...
damn how do you ship something safely so it keeps its sharpness?
@uncephalized Dank.
I want to eventually get stones to sharpen them myself, but I have a few other products that take priority.
My usual process is high-grit sandpaper followed by a two stage buffing to take the wire edge off--gets it nice and shavey.
Interesting. I'll have to do research. Build up my skill set.
There are many ways to sharpen an edge and all of them work. It comes down to preference and a practiced hand.
@Vesdii easiest way to safely package a knife is to tape two pieces of cardboard together tightly and slide the blade in between like so.
Ugly but highly effective as a temporary sheath.
is this safe @Legalize ?
well?
No.
"Psychologically sound enough to deploy several times to fight the enemies the government wanted fought, but not sound enough to carry a weapon for protection here at home due to using prescribed meds from a government run healthcare system."
The whitman guy also had an m1 carbine
which could be 30 round detachable mags
i don't know shit about guns but that figure about the AR-15 doesn't even make sense. how can a semi-auto fire at a higher rate/minute than a full auto?
what is an "assault weapon"? can a baseball bat be considered an "assault weapon" if you use it as a weapon to assault someone?
lots of 🤔
Even if you illegally modified it to be full-auto, the cyclic rate of fire would be the same or lower than the actual M16. And then for all the previous weapons, they've used a measurement that seems to include the time it takes to reload, but went with theoretical maximum for the last 2
1,200 rounds/minute is 20 rounds/second. Is there a gun that can even fire 20 rounds/second?
