After going without for a while and taking that first bite, you wonder if maybe you've been wrong all along, and that maybe it's not so bad. But then as you eat more, you realize pretty quickly that it was all a lie, and it's just as bad as you remember.

Even high quality milk chocolate is plasticy to me. Though cheap milk chocolate is far worse

If you don't have a sous vide, get one. Easier than a crock pot, and unless you're a skilled chef, you'll have a hard time cooking meat better than this
