It looks complicated lol
nah it's pretty simple
End game scoring is complicated
Playing it isn’t
Correction: end game scoring with multiple expansions can be complicated
eh
it makes sense once you get the hang of it
True
no reason given I see
just appeal to authority
don't games like that already... like fallout etc.????
Based anon.
never played carcassone but i've heard it's a classic
@Dan V FOUR MOAR YEARS
Game board got rekted during the night
Had to fix
True. Probably be a NDP majority by 2023.
Canada genuinely needs a nuke.
Or multiple nukes, really.
Let’s see...
There’s the current collection
Some stuff gets played more than others
Lots of Dominion and Carcassone. That's a decent size collection
I like deck-building but when it's part of a game and not the central mechanism
We’re overdue to try Clank
Rookie numbers but you have Catan so that’s a decent start
Then again my collection comes from my dad’s time and he was from the first era (his group was pre dnd and even helped design RuneQuest which is another rpg so they were big into board games since like the 80’s and probably before that)
I’d recommend some munchkin there are many forms and expansions but all are good (start with basic tho).
Ticket to ride is a good one, all about trains and such, really a modern classic.
Any sort of apples to apples is great with a good grp of friends (cards against humanity if you have a darker/dirtier sense of humor).
Love Letter is a nice small one that is really fun, many variations of it (including a munchkin version :P).
Recently with my group we’ve been playing “we didn’t play test this at all” which is confusing but pretty fun too.
Fluxx of some variety is a must if you don’t have it in that card game box what can’t be seen into.
Love letter is on the list
Munchkin is one I still have to look into
We still need to break out and play Superfight
We also have a ton of the jack box party games
