For a week, the payment website for the game kept crashing because it coudn't handle the traffic lol.

I feel about IP like I feel about usury. Plus it undermines incentives to streamline production and innovate. Repeal IP and watch art get good again.

A small effort at drm with actual price competition would see 80% of piracy go away.

(adding onto the pirate debate) lets not forget that pirated games usually run faster, because of the way that drm works, like seriously, 2-3 years after launch, games should be made drm-free, those willing to pay already paid for it, and those not, would get it on sales or pirate it anyways at this point

DRM should just not be a thing

it doesn't prevent piracy, those who pirate were most likely not going to buy your game for one reason or another

DRM it only hurts legit buyers

DRM really fulfills its purpose within the first 7 days of the games release, afterwards its just a PITA, as sales peter out from the initial super height

even first 48 hrs would be fine
