off shore is the best, I agree fully. They just built a huge one off Scotland and it is going to end up taking up a significant percentage of the national grid
solar roof technology makes a lot of sense. That is the stuff that should be pushed hard.
Yeah.
Rooftop solar will eventually become expected in some areas. I don’t agree with mandating it though.
Integrated rooftop solar is still a ways off. Maybe 10 years till a decent product actually gets market penetration
Rooftop solar is popular among the more well-off here because the cost is still prohibitive despite the subsidies
That’s true.
Also, well, it’s fucken Straya
The whole country is a gigantic desert
the recycling of PV panels arent that much of an issue in the west, because we handle shit properly. It is in China and that African nation I never remember where it is a huge problem. They contain a lot of Arsenic and Gallium in the solder, especially the early models that are now going out of lifecycle in Spain. It is just expensive to handle, which makes it easier to ship off to the third world.
I cant work out what I am more interested in seeing. The recycling of the Spanish and German power grids or what happens when they realise they have pushed all these electric cars have huge fucking Latium slabs in them they cant do fuck all with yet lol.
Australia, the only country so hot where people choose to live underground lol
You are are all wrong and i'm just waiting for the world to end.
*and geez Sal, stop trying to penetrate everything*
Lol
Also, I thought Elon was pretty close with his solar bricks???
arent they opening a solar brick factory in AZ or have I got the wrong project?
@Deleted User what I’m talking about is a product that gets installed when the roof needs to be replaced in general. The products are still too expensive now, but it’s possible that it will get cheap enough where most people do it.
@Lash-Games those are currently being made, but they are expensive. That may change in a few years.
@Salacious Swanky Cat I agree, but that day is not anytime soon
The only concern I have is the subsidies
@Deleted User yeah. It’s probably 5-10 years off before it becomes somewhat cost effective
you just want a Godzilla!
Fucking oath I do
I want a pet Godzilla
called Bitchzilla
Imagine riding that to work
lol
And petting it
Would be awesome
russians ride ostriches
I always dreamed like
Having a pet T-Rex
And riding that everywhere
Don’t you guys have crocodiles
Godzilla would be a million times more awesome
We do but they’re protected
Can’t raid a nest and raise a baby
Which eco maniac came up with that idea
I support nuclear. I actually don’t think that addressing climate change is possible without it.
Never mind just import some alligators from FL
Guaranteed those aren’t protected
