There are some fossil fuel subsidies that could be abolished, like LIHEAP. This program incentivizes people to use fossil fuels for residential heating
It would force people to become more efficient with energy
My one regret about the electoral college is that it means that we will probably never be rid of farm subsidies.
get rid of all subsidies will help, that's the approach Israel takes on water, pay the actual cost of use. so people fix their leaky toilets, etc
