I think it's just been easier for me to find eastern comics from smaller creators than western ones is the main thing. I like The Crow and Watchmen, Sin City was neat. Just need to find more interesting smaller stories. Self contained

Oh I rarely watch TV or movies regardless. John Wick 3 was good though

and i have some internal stigma against anime and manga, probably due to my porn addiction that was mostly of that ilk, so I don't tread near it
