ignoring the bullshit names and dodgy practices of the thing you would think the number alone would raise suspicion

11000 'climate scientists' was apparently actually 11000 people that signed a petition.

I know including renowned climate expert Mickey Mouse

but just assuming good faith on their part the number sounds way too high
are there even that many climate scientists?
especially ones of note?
I also find it weird that the media rarely actually presents any actual experts and rely on pop scientists like Brian Cox
