Youth is for wasting
*oof*
Tell that to John Keats.
>Greatest English romantic era poet
>Dead at 25
Died before he sold out man
youth is for learning
its the only time in life where major mistakes don't follow forever
you waste that time, you lose
My intention is to continue my IT certification studies, and I have an opportunity lined up that I have an extremely high chance of receiving. I'm hoping to use that to improve, and at some point expand my reach and settle down after I've accomplished my major educational goals.
this idea to get all of your worldly accomplishments before starting a family is why westerners aren't having kids
Agree @Deleted User
you have kids, and then work your ass off with the kids as motivation
gotta bust ass to keep the wife and kids taken care of
People back in the day used to get married and have kids and be broke-ass mofos while busting ass for the kids and wife.
That was just the deal.
Haha we said the same thing. Jinx, Shaky.
You were faster, I'll buy you the Coke.
not one other animal on the planet says, "I gotta establish myself as the uncontested predator of this valley before I have kids."
That's how several colleagues were. They had to bust their ass because of family. It was do or die.
^^^True story.
Compelling and rich.
And whatever other external factors.
waiting to have kids is really just the selfish desire to focus only on yourself and have fun rather than be devoted to someone else
Eh, I think it can be misplaced ideas of what is the right thing to do.
It doesn't have to be selfishly motivated, it can be simply misguided.
To be fair, the dating scene is full of thots with cultural degeneracy.
Go to a church.
I'm not entering a relationship with a smooth brain.
sure misinformation plays a part, but it plays into selfish motives
Church could be an alternative.
people are naturally alligned to be selfish. you give them a hogwash reason for it, they'll bite
Yes the selfish motive is one of the tricks but it's also parents telling their young adult children that they'll be bad parents if they don't wait and get established first etc.
I've been surrounded by terrible parents, and life decisions.
I'm trying not to repeat their mistakes.
That kind of stuff sinks in when you get it from every angle.
terrible parents are the ones that dont put their kids first
they are only there for cosmetics
This is also true. People fail to recognize that once you have a child it is not about you solely anymore.
Thing is that being a good parent is not about making a lot of money, it's about how you treat your kids and what kind of moral example you set and that is irrespective of money.
