@Legalize You buy silver when the gold/silver ratio is high so you can buy gold when the ratio drops.
It's currently around 85-90:1 so it's a good time to buy - I'm looking to acquire either a kilo of silver(approx. 31 troy ounces) or 10 grams of gold. Their prices are around the same right now
also, it costs silver miners about $15USD a troy oz to break even, so now is still a good time to buy

stock up on tampons too - they're highly compressed cotton which you can fluff-up to make kindling for your fire-steel when mixed with petroleum jelly or hand sanitizer. They're also sanitary so you can use them on wounds and last but not least, they'll be highly valued trade commodities to women, just like shampoo, conditioner and soap - plus women are crap at negotiating

the rule of thumb for valuing gold and silver is, 1 troy oz will buy you a decent steak dinner and 1 troy oz of gold will buy you a nice tailored suit
