My point is the visigoths are made up of several other tribe, Hell look at "Black Americans" Jamaicans hate being called African American(for obvious reasons) and then dark blacks hate lighter skinned blacks. And then they have their various gangs

similar to the issues the europeans had when settling the americas (not saying they weren't trying to take advantage of the confusion). they would negotiate deals with people they thought were in charge to only have pushback by others saying that the person who negotiated the deal did not represent them
