Granted, there are a lot of excellent resources online that are free.
Practice practice practice!
Ad hom red herring...
Ok, I gotta make a round, brb.
in short @Mandatory Carry I agree with the purpose of making every able bodied citizen armed, but I think wisdom dictates we avoid a registry and avoid compelling people to carry who do not feel equipped to do so
It would make him prohibited under his own law too @Legalize
Title VI Elective Exemption B just blew my mind. Maybe I'm not reading it right but I have to pay $300 a month to have a Total restriction. Which is defined as "A person under a total restriction may not possess any item identifiable for use as a weapon." Maybe I'm wrong but is that, I pay the government $300/month to be banned from owning a weapon of any sort?
yes that is correct
wot
ReAd the BiLL gUys
oTherWise yUr a liAR
meaning they are not rights, but duties
Ok, I'm out, hit the eject button and shit can this damn bill.
which, to be fair, is the wording he uses
He already did.
Agreed, Spader. The problem is two fold. It's not just enough to compel them to carry, but it's vastly more important to have them genuinely train, become proficient, and learn medical too for plugging holes.
read Title V Section 14
it's a macro application of the draft, if everyone was drafted like Israel
^^^^
that part scares the shit out of me
y'all may not remember, but I had relatives saying I was gonna 'go timothy mcveigh' because I went to local tea party meetings
Title V Section 14 states "Section 14 Any person who willfully ignores any part of this act may be, upon first violation, fined not more than $1ØØ; Upon second and subsequent violations, $5ØØ. Upon fourth and subsequent violations, incarcerated not more than 2 years. This includes failure to carry as required, carrying as prohibited, and use of terminology contrary to this act."

Seriously, Spader?
@[DGI]tech yep
That is so fucking authoritarian. Usually shit like that is drafted to take AWAY guns.
I was like, 11 at the time
@CritterKiller big fax. Registries lead to bans, given time
😅
I'm all for people owning and carrying guns, but making it mandatory with some pretty heavy penalties or impossibly high ways of avoiding it is crazy. It's $3600.00 A YEAR to voluntarily avoid this shit.
yup, sounds pretty racist to me
If you can't avoid that, your looking at $300.00 fine and 2 years in prison
a registry. That is pretty much the only way to make it enforceable.
yes, it's "total exemption" which is MandatorySpeak for "completely banned from all weapons"
God, I hope no leftist gets ahold of this.
lmao @CritterKiller they're throwing red flags out the door because Trump won't ban ARs by executive order, I doubt they'd play the long game on this one
I guess I meant a leftist with actual power.
Chuck Shumer has as much real power as any non-circuit court judge has in our system
You know, I came on because I wanted to find out if part of our gun problem could be attributed to a decrease in exposure to guns by parents of kids. Where the only exposure is what is found in Movies, TV, video games, and the news.
Not to have my mind blown by something completely out of left field.
sorry man
I just wanted to sink my teeth into a real argument
