don't you become a politician?

2019-08-20 01:21:39 UTC

Would you then have to _kill yourself_ ?

2019-08-20 01:21:48 UTC

OOOOO:

2019-08-20 01:23:34 UTC

Nuclear energy is necessary to address climate change

2019-08-20 01:23:44 UTC

I'll go nuclear in you Sal

2019-08-20 01:24:08 UTC

hot

2019-08-20 01:24:22 UTC
2019-08-20 01:24:35 UTC

hello beeboy

2019-08-20 01:24:49 UTC

@Deleted User oooh. Naughty. Lol

2019-08-20 01:24:52 UTC

Nuclear and fusion is the future.

2019-08-20 01:25:21 UTC

High output, low cost, low pollution, plentiful fuel

2019-08-20 01:25:25 UTC

Nuclear fusion

2019-08-20 01:25:32 UTC

Not location-based

2019-08-20 01:25:32 UTC

Sounds like a Dragonball Z episode lol

2019-08-20 01:27:02 UTC

Nuclear is carbon free energy and it is impossible to install renewables at a rate that both eliminates fossil fuels and meets the new demand growth that will come from electrifying everything. Plus, the only long term storage technology that exists is pumped hydro and it can’t be put everywhere. @O'Possum

2019-08-20 01:29:21 UTC

Nuclear fission brah, less destructive

2019-08-20 01:32:19 UTC

The first fusion reactor is being built in Europe. Hopefully it will work. Nuclear Fission is very effective

2019-08-20 01:32:50 UTC
2019-08-20 01:33:58 UTC

Only commie environmentalists are against nuclear

2019-08-20 01:34:04 UTC

I was making a physics joke about the energy output of fission vs fusion

2019-08-20 01:34:18 UTC

Never trust the commie environmentalists. They lie so hard.

2019-08-20 01:34:21 UTC

DID SOMEONE SAY

2019-08-20 01:34:25 UTC

C O M M I E S

2019-08-20 01:34:47 UTC

Oh fuck I forgot I'm not on my old phone anymore

2019-08-20 01:34:56 UTC

Don't have the Pinochet weather report >:

2019-08-20 01:55:26 UTC

Fusion is required to create self sustainable orbital habitats.

2019-08-20 01:55:51 UTC

Ergo, even if it wasn't economically feasable, it's our only hope after Asia blankets us in a cloud of carbon dioxide.

2019-08-20 01:58:05 UTC

After all, creating water and oxygen in space is "easy" once you're able to master fusion.

2019-08-20 02:05:13 UTC

I agree. That’s why I think the hyper focus on renewables is stupid. @DJ_Anuz

2019-08-20 02:07:50 UTC

Water is renewable if you know how to smash hydrogen and oxygen together

2019-08-20 02:08:01 UTC

Dihydrogen monoxide beyotch

2019-08-20 02:23:26 UTC

I learned you can store chlorine and bleach in the same bucket

2019-08-20 02:23:31 UTC

I JOKE DON'T DO THIS

2019-08-20 02:26:17 UTC

@pokemon_fetish that's a great idea.

2019-08-20 02:33:48 UTC

lol did that other guy actually leave?

2019-08-20 02:39:18 UTC

Considering I can still highlight him, prolly not

2019-08-20 02:42:09 UTC

@DJ_Anuz we can do orbital habs without fusion as long as they're close enough to the Sun to make solar reasonably effective. Fusion is a nice bonus but it's only really necessary for deep space afaik.

2019-08-20 02:43:19 UTC

he isnt showing up in the user list for some reason

2019-08-20 02:43:53 UTC

oh okay yeah he shows up in replies

2019-08-20 02:43:54 UTC

weird

2019-08-20 02:47:32 UTC

@uncephalized it actually is. Unless you plan to be having 80% of the habitat dedicated to food oxygen and recycling.

For instance, most of the ISS's mass is taken up by it's oxygen farms.

With fusion tech, you won't be required to ship water, or have a majority of the facility be farms for converting CO2 into oxygen.
