@Avald that would be looking at things at the district level. The study does imply that states were a factor, but I haven’t read it thoroughly enough to see how.

@Beemann that’s true that there are tons of different factors, but presenting a national aggregate number doesn’t actually prove anything at this point. At least pointing out any individual districts that had any major disparity in sentencing would at least give a direction on where a more in-depth investigation could occur.
