Yeah, children is easy
But let's say...
I'm halfway with Blonde on the whole 'repeal the 19th' thing though lol
A lot of millennials nowadays still live with their parents, but are not dependent on them for survival
Would they count as dependents and therefore be unable to vote?
if they pay their own taxes then they're not dependents
A lot are dependent though. And we already have laws identifying what a dependent is for tax purposes.
And it works pretty well. Just use the same definitions
exactly DJ
This is especially interesting to me because this is typically the case with Asian families, who stay with their parents until they get married
That's wack.
yeah I don't have any problem with who lives under whose roof, it's more about whether they are pulling weight as taxpayers
Truf.
Why is it wack DGI ?
@[DGI]tech the west did something similar for the longest time.
I'm not trying to push any particular living arrangement, I actually really like the extended-family thing
^
Only it was for the wealthy.
For the most part
I lived with my Mom until 21. I left after graduating college, and due to a few other circumstances.
I can't imagine living under their roof until I was married.
I got kicked out when I was 18.
Not really. I just went to live closer to girls I could date... Or... A girl.
My Uncle and Mom both got kicked out of my adopted Grandparents house when they were 17 😂
That's fine, I moved out when I was 19, although if I didn't get my daughter early I can see myself still living under their roof
The whole, he leaves his parents house to be one with his wife sort of idea
Also a pretty good safeguard against premarital sex
I think we should just abolish federal taxes and give states more leeway on their tax codes.
this system is about net taxpayer status though @Legalize so it's net of benefits received
Let Cali and New York tax themselves through the roof. The inner states would gladly accept their businesses
But yeah, I only ask because I'm curious
you could have a fair tax and still have people being net welfare recipients
DJ I am all for decentralizing the gov
@uncephalized I read that as "I am all for decentralizing the gay"
haha
and I was sitting here confused for a moment
like wtf... is there actually a gay central command
lmao
good call Legalize
