oh yeah, it was well selected, I just thought it was funny that the main antagonist ||has pretty much the exact same motivations as Rossiu and it follows the exact same story beats of "we have to sacrifice most of humanity so that a few of us can escape ON THIS GIANT SPACESHIP" "but there's a way to do this without sacrificing anyone!"||
Well the thing with ||Rossiu|| was that he was ||overwhelmed by the sheer destruction the enemy was capable of, and he didn't go through the same growth as Simone. He's the straightman in a world where that approach genuinely doesn't work||
yeah, that's very true. The antagonist in Promare was a much simpler, more straight forward character, but considering that they only had an hour and a half to develop the entire story, it's not particularly surprising
