So the same could be said for a BJ
Y’all know what that is? Lol.

No. When you sit on your non dominant hand until you can’t feel it. Then you masturbate. It’s the gayest possible way to masturbate.
rofl the gayest possible way. That's too much
@SteelandSouls some states don’t require a license to ride low speed vehicles, like bikes.
@Salacious Swanky Cat Ah! Fun facts
@SteelandSouls that also includes mopeds. I have to check for my state though.
@Salacious Swanky Cat oh, apparently CNN did it too
Don Lemon said Kanye “needs a hug, a strong father figure”
Surprisingly (or not) I couldn’t find a clip of that; only place I found a clip was through Fox News lol
@Deleted User geez. That doesn’t shock me at all. They are desperate to slander him. Kanye was all great and wonderful when he was calling George bush a racist black hating a-hole, but now he’s a pariah because he’s taken the red pill.
@Salacious Swanky Cat hey bud. I could use some help with a phone.
I'm still trying to learn why people think the NPC meme anything useful and not just lazy. Like i can say many good things about NPCs among other things.
@Shadows I think the idea is that NPCs are ‘programmed’ and they don’t think for themselves.
predictable outcomes and speech that doesn't change no matter how many times you talk to said person
While those are of note, that still does not encapsulate everything about npc's. In games they can be made poorly but also extremely well. Doing many useful and helpful things. I guess it would make more sense to say a poor/failed or broken npc.
(but i understand that's not how meme's work).
Well even a good NPC is still preprogrammed. They can't go off script
There can be meme NPCs that agree with you as well as those that disagree. They may have the right idea about a lot of things, it's just that the PC thinks while the NPC sticks to what they've been told to do
Well for me, that falls apart really fast, as even tho humans can be sheep (only doing what they have been told).
They still understand things, and reason out what it is they are agreeing to all the while (even if it is a faulty view).
I mean, if i can understand Why a person believes what they believe, i have a better chance of adjusting their views or even changing it. Does this analogy make me a hacker then? Breaking programming code heh.
It's just a joke m8
Like you're overthinking this. The joke is that there's a subset of people who just revert back to the same 5 lines when challenged and they don't think critically
Like an NPC
Its also a insult, which fair enough people can say whatever they want. But i prefer the things i say to make sense :)
I'm just not a fan of it as when i think of a NPC, what comes to mind is all the characters i enjoy in video games.
So i find that a bit failing as a joke or insult, but oh well i guess some people enjoy it.
To be fair, even if the player character is controlled by someone who thinks critically, you can only execute the commands the game was programmed with. You only have choices of A, B, and C, and can't go off-script either
*unless you're playing Morrowind :)
Or unless you're playing a tabletop module
The DM is generally not going to have the Blacksmith say a whole lot more than the most basic shit as per the script, and once an NPC is elevated to proper character status they basically cease to be an NPC
If the GM is following that template, sure. Though that's an argumentum ad populum if we're saying the gamemaster has to do that because it's common to do. What makes an NPC on tabletop can only be defined by the GM, which can, as you've demonstrated, change at any given time (and for no reason at all). It should be noted they aren't limited to actual people in tabletop, either, but can be environmental set pieces
In summation, NPCs are ass-pulls, their actions inventions based on the need of the scenario, or whims of the gamemaster
We are all NPCs.
most likely
Lol. There’s an aquaman movie coming out.
Aquaman is a meme for how useless his powers are. This may flop hard.
Flop, kinda like a fish out of water?
I'll leave....
i'm a big fan of Marvel, but a slightly bigger fan of DC and in the animated series (and in a lot of the comics), aquaman is great. But there is a good chance the movie will fail because DC isn't doing a great job outside of a few movies with there characters.
I think Aquaman, and the rest of the the DC heroes needed a standalone movie before Justice league
But regardless, after I saw the Titans trailer, the DC movie franchise is dead to me
