It's gorgeous
@J Edgar saw your SC - 4D hungry-hungry hippos underwater chess?🤔
tell me I'm wrong
I'm not seeing it
The fact that he demanded the investigation in a press conference got my feelers buzzing
he demanded an investigation for everything, including his "witnesses" against Kavanaugh
He demanded an investigation to virtue signal because Brett wouldn't
how is this different?
and there was so much support for Kavanaugh to not request an investigation
There is going to be a full investigation into Avenatti, and he will get exonorated, and then he will say "See, if you have nothing to hide, just call for an investigation"
there you go

possible news out of NYC DOI may be charging De Blasio with interference
What type of interference? Election?
Investigations into mayor corruption...he is trying to pull a Cuomo
Oh.
Dang.
To be fair, crap like this happens in my state (Alabama) with the republicans. Single party systems aren’t a good thing.
The story is just breaking
Ok.
A lot of crap went down with a state representative named mike Hubbard in Alabama.
Yo....is race a social construct? Why or why not?
No. There are enough biological factors to justify a different race in a similar way we classify species.
Ehhhhh
Differences between ethnic groups maybe, but race not so much
Either way it's super blurry and not clear cut at all
It came up at work where my Deputy PM has said the same talking point I've heard where "Race is a social construct. Everyone came from Africa" -says African woman
Yes and no. There is a biological component and there is a social component
I've always been pretty dubious about who quotes these lines and try to understand the premise it comes from and how does it lend or detract from a conversation.
I posted in <#266396659062145025> as good as you will get with that argument
Here's something I've always wanted to ask. Let's say race is 100% socially constructed....then what are the implications of saying that? Does "race" then become something we no longer discuss? Do we discuss it anyways without any scientific guide for direction?
Be sure not to conflate the being of a race with the racial culture. Culture is a societal construct. Black culture and White culture are names we happen to give practices engaged primarily of a certain race. The question was whether or not race was a social construct. Not racial culture
