One measure of the evolution of the youngest generation is that more than a third of them, 35 percent, know someone who prefers to be addressed using gender-neutral pronouns, compared with just a quarter of Millennials and less than a sixth of those in Generation X.
```
```
Almost 6 in 10 members of Generation Z say forms or online profiles that ask about gender should include options other than “man” or “woman.” And 57 percent say they are very or somewhat comfortable referring to someone else by a gender-neutral pronoun, slightly lower than the 59 percent of millennials who say the same but far higher than older generations.
```
like we need to remember that the conservative age shift happens after 20s, so I expect them to become way less liberal within the next decade
maybe
millenials havent changed lol
they have
just not nearly enough
so im not holding out on the gen z
i knew something was off when i saw the 2018 results lmao
i was like hmmm welp is it time for accelerationism then?
🤔
iirc gen z is already outperforming millennials statistically too
don't quote me on that tho
I don't think you can account for the 2018 result because of gen z, for one, we didn't lose much (even less compared to what the dems thought they would get), and not most of gen z can even vote. Its fine to speculate, but i don't, as we can really Know one way or another. Its likely you can never get enough clear data on things like this.
its a fairly small sample size that could easily be influenced by area of survey
and of course even if its true, it still says that they're only just as bad as millennials are now
yeah
that's my only hope
that since survey done on 13-17 year olds maybe thatll change
🤔
tbh, if they were worse off then millennials, I'd expect them to be well further gone then millennials are now, not at the same level
Not only that, but less people talk about how they really feel about their politics, compared to the people who reply to data collecting surveys.
yeah
that's another point
people sometimes will outright choose the option they disagree with just to prevent the antifa mobs
especially if the area is stereotypically a social liberal area
Or people just might not care, or are to busy.
You can get data on the loud minority/majority groups, but i'm not sure you can from everyone as a whole.
yeah
i mean it's pew lol
they anonymize it
only thing good tho is
the 13-17 thing
as in kids are usually retards and want daddy govt
but when i was their age i wasnt about that weird gender shit
so idk
I gotta agree with shadows, high likelyhood none of them actually give a shit and were just saying it as avoidant bs
Something I saw here on <#266401012967931905> by @Agent Smith I had to write about for my school discord project saying this: the mission of the site is to train white people and how to become more compassionate over humans of a different color. This topic is not new to the political atmosphere. The concept of being white is by the very nature the dark side of how we live today according to new feminism. This is simply not sure being white is not a problem by the color of the skin but rather the ideas of that person. THink of it in this way would you be rather judged on your ideas or rather the color of your skin. I think we would all rather be judged by ideas the concept of ideas is the very thing that makes us human and different from each other. On one side of the political perspective, being white has nothing to do with being racist just by being white. While the other side seems to be focused on that skin color of someone makes them think automatically “bad” things. I personally don’t see how someone's skin color makes them think bad things just by the act of being certain skin color. The ideas of that person are vastly different from the person next to them. The ideas being different makes the idea that being white comes with being racist such an abstract and dumb idea.
