Can't quiet tell what triggered it, but I just went online to check prices for houses in some middle America states. Seriously depressing what you get if you compare it to my 82sqm apartment!

I do it from time to time as well. It's always kinda depressing what you can get there for so cheap. lol. Like a 4 bedroom house in a nice area for under $250k is extremely normal, meanwhile we are paying that for two bedrooms in a shitty area lol

I payed 25k for a parking spot in my buildings garage 6 years ago. I am sure it sells for over 30k now.

the basement thing depends where you are I think. Most seem to have them though.

Maybe we checked different states then, I haven't come across a single basement.

the parking costs are insane. 25k for a spot in london isnt unreasonable at all. I know at canary wharf they are about 10k if you have an office there.

I know in Tower Hamlets they limit the number of parking spaces to less than 1 per person. I think it is 0.8 spaces per person
