nah I'm bringing up societal reconstruction again

2019-03-10 21:37:24 UTC

@Beemann my respect for you has skyrocketed. No one seems to see the need to turn back Soviet subversion

2019-03-10 21:37:53 UTC

it's basically why SJWs exist

2019-03-10 21:38:01 UTC

I donโ€™t think it can be turned back.

2019-03-10 21:38:49 UTC

I think you can remove its influence in large part by reconstructing the foundation of a basic, flexible social system

2019-03-10 21:39:03 UTC

I can't think of three, but I see the destruction of Soviet subversion and the anti religious ideals as most important

2019-03-10 21:39:36 UTC

@J Edgar Was waiting for you to join our talk about bodypillows. What say you?

2019-03-10 21:39:58 UTC

what we have now is about 6 different social structures, none of which are 100% there, all vying for control over bits they havent quite figured out yet. And some of them are trash on top of that

2019-03-10 21:40:12 UTC

I didn't know there was any talk about bodypillows. @Salacious Swanky Cat gets to be mine

2019-03-10 21:40:14 UTC

The ability to create a Universal Value is the main ingredient in creating a positive and prosperous society. Things like Nationalism, ethnic, race, and other forms of symbolism are so vital. No matter how you rally a population, the lack of strict social norms is a requirement, but yes it comes with a steep negative trade-off. Thusly, things like liberalism, and tolerance was much more persuasive and political popular. It's a near impossible balance. However, we're so far gone from this. It's barely even conceivable. :C

2019-03-10 21:40:19 UTC

Shadows has a collection of body pillows? Who would have guessed

2019-03-10 21:41:22 UTC

Tolerance isn't really popular though. The people preaching tolerance are some of the biggest opponents of it. What we have instead is an culturally imperialist notion of subversion and capitulation

2019-03-10 21:41:23 UTC

We can recover, and do it peacefully

2019-03-10 21:41:25 UTC

Yes yes, technology, decadence, and the luxury of modern convenience is also a fatal result of said society.

2019-03-10 21:42:05 UTC

It starts with setting your own house in order

2019-03-10 21:42:05 UTC

I'll try to take the Abbey White pill. But there's a lot suggesting otherwise.

You can't fix society without fixing your own home first

2019-03-10 21:42:37 UTC

*Begins optimistically cleaning apartment*

2019-03-10 21:43:31 UTC

Excellent

2019-03-10 21:43:33 UTC

Tolerance is being able to deal with the existence of opposing and conflicting ideas/practices etc. I would argue this is vital to growth so long as it is taken in moderation

2019-03-10 21:43:58 UTC

The key should never be to have no standards to accomodate the standards of others, but to rigorously examine and test the standards you have

2019-03-10 21:44:07 UTC

No. I fundamentally disagree with that Beemann.

2019-03-10 21:44:19 UTC

No. No. No!

2019-03-10 21:44:27 UTC
2019-03-10 21:44:41 UTC

I might agree with you, but explain

2019-03-10 21:44:41 UTC

No? Never change the practices you have? I hope you aren't AnPrim :^)

2019-03-10 21:45:24 UTC

No. I'm not. I will explain soon Abbey. Very soon. :3

2019-03-10 21:46:09 UTC

Ugh Beeman, your perception of tolerance is soooooooo bad. *begins vomiting*

2019-03-10 21:46:31 UTC

>the definition of a concept is a poor perception
wew

2019-03-10 21:46:44 UTC

Its a good thing you never guess anything correctly or i might be worried @SpanishAbbey. I've not 1. But a few of us are pretty good at having fun outside of your nonsense anyway.

2019-03-10 21:47:25 UTC

Shame.๐Ÿ”” Shame.๐Ÿ”” Shame.๐Ÿ”” @Beemann

2019-03-10 21:47:41 UTC

2019-03-10 21:47:44 UTC

@Shadows you should take the Abbey White pill with @Deleted User

2019-03-10 21:47:57 UTC

I'm fine with dying instead.

2019-03-10 21:47:59 UTC

You are always such a grouch

2019-03-10 21:48:04 UTC

2019-03-10 21:48:44 UTC

2019-03-10 21:49:02 UTC

@Beemann Ya, i'm waiting for an argument against what you said, i don't see anything really wrong with it.

2019-03-10 21:49:13 UTC

this turned into a podcast ad :^)
