Holding a baby absolutely did not change my mind. It wasn’t until my niece was walking and talking that I said “oh ok. I get this now.”

It’s been my experience that men usually don’t get super into parenting until the kid is walking around talking. Before that you love them obviously but they’re kind of just a chore until you get to start showing them the world and exploring with them
