When I go back to start of today's stream on youtube, it seems to start mid-sentance, instead of the normal intro roll and stuff. What did I miss?
Sometimes youtube messes up with uploads, it normally takes a few hours to get it fully up.
Yeah, if you watch it some time tomorrow, it should be fine.
I think when it's still live it only buffers the last 2 hours worth so if a stream goes over that you have to wait till youtube completely processes it to watch the beginning.

I could see particular critiques against certain original*ists* being rather valid, but I don't see why the constitution would need to be anything other than what it says on the tin
Because the founding fathers were bigots who didn’t want to be ruled by a disabled, black, tranny dictator. So the constitution is invalid and should be slowly subverted until my particular set of progressive beliefs are the only acceptable ones

Many of those linguist and "historians" were wasting their time. The constitutions wasn't some mystery puzzle the founders set up with a secret message. Its was just the normal words at the time and not hard to understand. Many people have spend a great deal of time trying to interpret it to mean what "they" want it to mean.
Reading a bit more, it kind of doesn't even matter if they had more power... Its up to the other branches to enforce their rulings, and if enough people disagree with them, they won't stand.
Stick to the text, if they dont like the wording there is a process to change it
those who ignore the definitions of words at the time of writing are either ignorant, or willfully deceitful. One does not read Shakespeare with modern english definitions.
