I absolutely hate the "forced to give birth" angle when people cook up hypotheticals. Banning abortion is a call to *inaction*.

It's like saying we force women into motherhood because we have laws against child neglect, actually it's even less than that

The rape scenario does change the logic and I'm sympathetic to it, but once you're pregnant if everyone does their best *nothing* you'll still give birth

Making someone do something they don't want to would be a form of force.... The point is up to what point is it allowed.
