@Beemann
The ban is to protect the rest of the militry. It's hypocritical of me to say that (I lied about medical issues to get in), but it is necessary.
The only words you need to understand what universal health care looks like is Walter Reed. The system needs to be repaired, but state-run health care was best ilistrated by *The Obsolete Man.*

I'm not arguing from personal conviction. I'm pointing out that these divides exist outside of raw media narrative bullshit

2019-05-29 14:35:11 UTC

Right.

2019-05-29 14:35:38 UTC

In order for the propaganda to exist someone already has to believe it.

2019-05-29 14:49:03 UTC

So did everyone buy the Java Edition of Minecraft for $26?

2019-05-29 15:18:23 UTC

Right but I'm saying that outside of the propaganda there's still a political divide
Isn't that just the regular edition? Also who would buy Minecraft at this point?

2019-05-29 15:19:10 UTC

Honestly dude the situation with all these editions is jarring

2019-05-29 15:20:53 UTC

Right but it's like Watchdogs and their 80 different editions. The winning move is not to play :^)

2019-05-29 15:21:53 UTC

Was thinking the other day about how to make MC interesting again, and I think it might honestly be to simulate the OG patch cycle with a list of hidden server improvements and minimal rules for general interactivity

2019-05-29 15:34:48 UTC

Sounds cool but I don't know enough about MC to appreciate it. I have the ps3 and ps4 edition (and apparently a demo edition set to expire soon lol). Not sure what the console versions captured as far as features, or how much it subtracted. I do know the ps3 edition had you on a small island

2019-05-29 15:37:55 UTC

Apparently it's the equivalent to Java edition Beta 1.6.6, which was fairly far along

2019-05-29 15:38:22 UTC

And yeah Java edition was the OG

2019-05-29 15:41:42 UTC

So PC MC got renamed to Java ed, and then there's Legacy Console and Bedrock ed

2019-05-29 15:42:13 UTC

||and none of them are worth it anymore||

2019-05-29 15:45:21 UTC

Where does Windows 10 Edition fall into this?

2019-05-29 15:45:37 UTC

Probably equivalent to bedrock I suspect

2019-05-29 15:45:50 UTC

Or it's just Java ed on a different storefront

2019-05-29 15:46:17 UTC

The [platform] editions are basically all the same as far as I can tell

2019-05-29 15:48:34 UTC

Apparently the biggest ps4 world is 25 ps3 worlds. And I do know ps4 has been updated far past ps3

2019-05-29 15:54:03 UTC

Yes ,which is why you have the bedrock/legacy split

2019-05-29 15:54:18 UTC

But I mean the bone and ps4 etc editions are about equivalent

2019-05-29 15:54:28 UTC

And the ps3 vita 360 etc ones are too

2019-05-29 16:02:29 UTC

How are Infinite worlds handled? If you kept walking in one direction for days, would a house you left behind still be there?

2019-05-29 16:06:59 UTC

@RoadtoDawn pretty sure it's just procedurally generated. So yeah the house would be there, so long as you dont corrupt the save after it becomes 5 gigs large.

2019-05-29 16:08:13 UTC

That's pretty dope

2019-05-29 16:08:13 UTC

Yeah that's basically it

2019-05-29 16:08:26 UTC

It used to be that eventually the chunks would get corrupted

2019-05-29 16:08:46 UTC

So if you warped out you would find walls of rock and floating islands and such

2019-05-29 16:08:56 UTC

But that got "fixed"

2019-05-29 16:10:07 UTC

My dream Elder Scrolls game would be like a modern day Daggerfall. Procedurally generated with many set locations handcrafted and static

2019-05-29 16:10:32 UTC

I've fallen tremendously out of love with procedural generation

2019-05-29 16:10:53 UTC

My dream elder scrolls game is made by a team that actually likes RPGs

2019-05-29 16:11:23 UTC

I agree that Todd Howard should be demoted

2019-05-29 16:11:41 UTC

Let a fan of fantasy lead the team

2019-05-29 16:13:28 UTC

I would radically change gameplay, make skills absurd again, go back to the legacy system of bring able to kill anyone with a popup if you broke mql, and have a much more condensed map

2019-05-29 16:15:21 UTC

Like just take one of the regions in Skyrim instead of the whole country, but make actual town sized downs and city sized cities

2019-05-29 16:15:29 UTC

Condensed as in, focus on a city and countryside, for example?

2019-05-29 16:15:42 UTC

Yes

2019-05-29 16:16:15 UTC

Sometimes I dream of a game that is a single city block but you can go into every building and interact with everything

2019-05-29 16:16:31 UTC

And yes to anyone being killable. I had some epic debates on the official forums about this

2019-05-29 16:16:57 UTC

Right. I don't need to see every part of a province. Just give me a gigantic area
