@yuma_8
So, ¿Coast Guard or Marine Corps?

2019-07-18 02:53:25 UTC

I have almost zero web experience lol

2019-07-18 02:57:13 UTC

I wish web development was as fun as WPF / C# dev 😦

2019-07-18 02:59:16 UTC

Very cool

2019-07-18 03:00:42 UTC

I have a science background so I've done some statistical analysis and data visualization, but nothing fancy like yours

2019-07-18 03:01:30 UTC

I went to 2 semesters at northern illinois university and went to like 20 classes TOPS in a full year

2019-07-18 03:01:41 UTC

Extremely gay i cant take it

2019-07-18 03:01:42 UTC

lol

2019-07-18 03:02:24 UTC

I cannot fucking sit in a 200 person lecture hall listening to some fat woman retard tell me how to write a triangle solver calculator for fucking 6 weeks 3 hour classes

2019-07-18 03:02:45 UTC

I would go back to college for a high maths degree if i ever went back

2019-07-18 03:03:37 UTC

because ive always been naturally pretty good at math, but I just dont have much formal education. I can learn any programming language, but I start to max out in like the middle of Calc II type content when i try to self learn math

2019-07-18 03:04:15 UTC

Math is hard

2019-07-18 03:04:28 UTC

Whoever was asking about AR-15 v. Mini-14;
Mini-14 is a simpler platform, but AR-15 is more flexible without more difficulty in maintenance. Definitely get one of each and go to a range with people who know the guns and try them out, both shooting and cleaning.

2019-07-18 03:04:58 UTC

My degree was in physics, and I realized halfway through it that I thought I was good at math lol

2019-07-18 03:05:22 UTC

Not good enough to really do math though

2019-07-18 03:05:24 UTC

hahahaha

2019-07-18 03:06:10 UTC

know whats fucking pathetic

2019-07-18 03:06:23 UTC

remember the limp dicked move trump did about tech censorship

2019-07-18 03:07:04 UTC

when he made some fucking e-web form of "report censorship and your account details and what video blah blah and well monitor the situation"

2019-07-18 03:07:52 UTC

Well i didnt even fucking know, but THEY SHUT THAT WEBSITE DOWN, and theyre doing nothing with the information they collected, and they are not making it public.

2019-07-18 03:08:50 UTC

Physics is the best 😤😤😤😤

2019-07-18 03:08:53 UTC

Seriously, that couldve actually fucking HELPED. I couldve used that as the initial indexing service indexed channel list

2019-07-18 03:09:05 UTC

Who shut it down? The White House?

2019-07-18 03:09:11 UTC

Yeah.

2019-07-18 03:09:24 UTC

Heres the silly thing about censorship

2019-07-18 03:10:03 UTC

@amlam physics is just the non-fiction version of math.

2019-07-18 03:10:14 UTC

That’s what makes it the best

2019-07-18 03:10:17 UTC

if you dont have it, you see the truth. and the truth is insanely inconvenient and an argument could be made for public safety that it not be known by the general public.

2019-07-18 03:10:50 UTC

I dont BELIEVE THAT, but... Trump donors and PAC organizers sure might

2019-07-18 03:11:22 UTC

@amlam @uncephalized I don't know...theoretical physics is almost fiction right now

2019-07-18 03:11:44 UTC

Nah. I’m not a theorist but what they do is no less real than my work

2019-07-18 03:11:57 UTC

My Top 1Ø Infantry Rifles list.
To make this list, the gun had to use a rifle round (no sub-machinguns), see actual militry service (any army), be portable enough for individual use (including ammo)

Honorable mentions: These suffered a defect that took them out of the running but should have made the list, and in a comparison of their own era would have:
M-1 Garand; The M-14 is in fact a decendent of the Garand.
AVS-36
MAT-36 (post war); The fixed magazines were replaced by detachable mags, but crudely, and the -36 never saw combat service, bringing into question their combat capabilities.
MAT-46: The best *sub-*machinegun on the list, but knocked for being a sub-machingun ***AND*** for bring on the loosing side of thier war.
FG-42; The box magazine was too small and they saw too limited a service for a fair review.
M-19Ø8 Springfield: A good gun, but outclassed by most of the guns on the list, and most guns in their own era.
M-1Ø7: Also a good gun, but with extremely limited magazine and limited utility.
SKS: The fixed magazine and limited service simply didn't allow them to compete with the others. Even in thier quintessential war (Viet Nam), their use was limited.

And the list:
9. AK-47/-74 series
8. Browning Automatic Rifle
7. Lee-Enfeild/KAR-98; Tied at #7 are the two main infantry rifles of the UK and Germany through both World Wars.
5. SA-8Ø (post 1991)
4. M-14; The Mini-14 is a derivative of the M-14.
3. FN FAL
2. M-2 Carbine
1. M-16 series

Even string theory?

2019-07-18 03:12:15 UTC

I meant real theories

2019-07-18 03:12:19 UTC

It was a poor analogy anyway @yuma_8. I just thought amlam might find it funny.

2019-07-18 03:12:41 UTC

String theory is basically just a fun game of what if for people with 160+ IQs

2019-07-18 03:13:02 UTC

@Mandatory Carry you have already posted this and it has nothing to do with the current conversation.

2019-07-18 03:13:26 UTC

I love that those super geniuses are occupying their time figuring out if the world is made of a series of fucking yarn or whatever
