My rear tire on tight turns is clicking
Or kind of "chunking"
and I feel like the suspension on that side is a little rough.
I checked the Lug nuts and they seem good.
Does anyone on here know any Sign Language?
@Old Man Hound what's your drivetrain?
did you try looking under the vehicle?
(-(
nvm...
rip
@Agent Smith Ford Focus
so front wheel drive yeah?
they also come in 4 wheel drive
The Focus O___o?
That's news to me lol
yup
old article
Oh O__o
@Old Man Hound Might try jacking up that corner so that wheel is off the ground and wiggling it. Could be a few things, but one May be worn out suspension bushings. But you might be Able to track it down that way.
you can break an axle even with CVs
usually the CV fails though
and technically the Focus RS is awd not 4wd 😉
Time on deck is Ø5:32 and vc is in use.
😃😃😃😃
@Just for youtube [NB1] that's why I asked if they had a turbo and if they put the car in gear in the opposite direction of the car's momentum - it takes a buttload of torque to break an axle
them saying the car was chonking during cornering tells me it's the cv
yea
i mean technically an axle can just fatigue
and if you're like wide open over bumps or off curbs and stuff
the mass of the wheel/tire/brake can shock an axle enough to break it doing stuff like that
well sure, but they never said anything about extraordinary circumstances like you mentioned
and they'd know it when it happens like that
well he did say he shifted it like a racecar which is pretty extraordinary
I didn't see any mention of that
and i'm wide open over bumps and stuff often and it doesn't really feel like it's beating the shit out of the drivetrain although it definitely is
unless he just meant like
grinding gears
which he might've
either way
