I've spent the last 7 years at a job across the street from the high school I graduated from, and I noticed as time went on, "goth" or "emo" or "Scene" all that shit that was hot when I was younger it just faded away.

I've only had to sit through one, and compared to stories I've heard, it wasn't that bad. Still, I think I would have preferred working through a break or two if it meant not having to sit through the HR guy doing that bullshit chummy, friendly 'I actually give a shit about you,' routine.

Thankfully I've never had to deal with any of that shit. My job is definitely not PC. We use a swimsuit model calendar and one of my coworkers has topless women on his toolbox. It's pretty great when one of my coworkers has to ask me "What the fuck is binary? What the hell does it mean to be non-binary" and then when I explain it, he goes "I don't know man, that shit is all just... pshh, it's fucking weird. I don't get it."
