"more precise" is irrelevant to the human ear past 16/44.1

2017-07-08 21:54:53 UTC

yeah and i dont care past those

2017-07-08 21:55:29 UTC

and again you don't even find any music or movies with a dynamic range that fills 16 bits, and FR beyond 22khz is inaudible to even the theoretical ideal golden ear

2017-07-08 21:55:57 UTC

for most adults it's gonna be 16khz or lower

2017-07-08 21:59:25 UTC

tbh with the music most people listen to half the bit depth and half the sampling rate of red book cd would probably suffice

2017-07-08 21:59:47 UTC

since heavy heavy DRC and everything's under 6khz

2017-07-08 21:59:59 UTC

i just care if im listening to 15hz sine wave that dac will represent it as a perfect sinewave at 15hz. I know there is better dac than this one. donw know why you dont want to recommend me one

2017-07-08 22:01:05 UTC

"better" in the context of a dac means higher dynamic range and wider band of frequencies it can perfectly reproduce

2017-07-08 22:01:50 UTC

pcm2704 will perfectly reproduce any signal under 22khz with dynamic range under 96dB, it's mathematic fact

2017-07-08 22:02:49 UTC

i get it now, sorry im on ambien but i get it now

2017-07-08 22:02:52 UTC

if i didn't have all my shit packed up for a move i'd compare it to my function generator on my scope to prove this

2017-07-08 22:03:00 UTC

i need to anyway for foruma rguments

2017-07-08 22:03:12 UTC

haha clearly

2017-07-08 22:03:57 UTC

tbh pcm2704 is actually more accurate than my function generator

2017-07-08 22:04:04 UTC

since i have an oldschool analog one

2017-07-08 22:04:29 UTC

goes up to 2MHz but it also has some distortion the ele does not even at low audio frequencies

2017-07-08 22:05:31 UTC

not that said distortion and noise would be audible at all, mind you

2017-07-08 22:06:18 UTC

i just want to listen to shitty music in better quality than its shitty soundcloud producers made them in.

2017-07-08 22:06:24 UTC

autist

2017-07-08 22:06:35 UTC

i dont even like that kind of music

2017-07-08 22:06:36 UTC

ask for stems and remaster them yourself :^)

2017-07-08 22:06:37 UTC

fucc me

2017-07-08 22:07:03 UTC

no, i have a thing for music like lil pump - d rose

2017-07-08 22:07:47 UTC

its eating me alive that i like good sound and play with eq for years listening to pink floyd and led zeppelin

2017-07-08 22:07:59 UTC

then this stuff comes out and i need to listen to it

2017-07-08 22:08:00 UTC

...

2017-07-08 22:18:26 UTC

ok thank you @Kaytee i think i understand

this are awesome also

2017-07-08 23:23:49 UTC

at first i didn't understand why people said the zs5s were uncomfortable but then i took them off and put them back on again

2017-07-08 23:23:53 UTC

the angles rape my ears

2017-07-08 23:28:18 UTC

I've got Monoprice 8323s, and while they sound alright for $20 cans, they really hurt after a while unless I wear them loose

2017-07-08 23:29:46 UTC

do you have aftermarket pads?

2017-07-08 23:30:11 UTC

nope, they still have the stock pads
