Would the Behringer UMC22 be a good interface to go with a NW/BM-800? I'm looking into moving away from my gaming headset, but I also don't want to blow the bank, and I hear USB mics can be a pain

honestly, it would mostly be used for chatting on Discord/in-game stuff, and *maybe* some amateur commentaries/goofing off; I just would rather have something of better quality than my HyperX Stinger's headset mic

I figure it's better to be a bit overkill than going full cheapo

plus the Blue Yeti that I was also considering not only isn't /csg/ material, but would be a pain to deal with as far as accessories go since it's mostly proprietary shit

I've got Monoprice 8323s, and while they sound alright for $20 cans, they really hurt after a while unless I wear them loose

nope, they still have the stock pads

I know of the Brainwavz pads, I just haven't bothered to buy them yet since I'm not using the 8323s at the moment

Is there really any major difference between the NW-700 and NW-800, or is it just the shape of the mic? The NW-700 is currently $9 cheaper on Amazon than the 800
