they never listen when i say "15W you arent gonna be cutting shit and not gonna be engraving very much, also that looks like something you'd see on hackaday made out of two cd drives"

Fucking gearchink said the 3d printer I ordered was worth $20 and now Canadian customs it holding it until I submit either a paypal receipt or credit card receipt and they specifically say the invoice is not accepted as proof. Should I just let this sit at customs and eventually get returned or risk getting hit by heavy import fees?

not sure what'd happen here, tbh the big problem is that usually chink sites have on their terms that any customs fees are to be paid by the buyer
so if they get it back, even if free, you may get into some weird problems
shoulda told them to declare it at something like half price, not just 20$
