I've had stuff arrive a bit beaten up, but nothing damaged within the packaging. I've also never bought anything too pricey. I spent $100 on like 13 models. so that's not bad at all

I've found Russian trucks and some Chinese cars are easier to find inexpensively in 1/43, and then some, annoyingly are far easier (and cheaper) to find in 1/32 or 1/36. for this small stuff I prefer 1/43, although I've certainly gotten some cool models in 1/18.
