2018-05-16 23:27:23 UTC

bassically as you shift pen upwards the pen gets thinner

2018-05-16 23:27:28 UTC

so you can either use it super thick or fine

2018-05-16 23:27:37 UTC

its a intesresting nib design

2018-05-16 23:37:23 UTC

Anyone bought any like car radios and stuff from aliexpress, etc?

2018-05-16 23:44:59 UTC

I probably wouldn't feel comfortable with modern cars using a cheap Chinese deck, too much gets tied in to that nowadays, and decent ones aren't too spendy.

2018-05-16 23:45:47 UTC

Enough goes wrong with cars without messing up the electronics. But I'm also really not a car guy. Decent radio we put in my mom's car was only around $90

2018-05-17 00:14:46 UTC

Really shitty ones around here with just aux are about 250AUD its a rip off

2018-05-17 00:14:49 UTC

plus installation prices

2018-05-17 00:14:56 UTC

im running a 98 camry

2018-05-17 00:15:07 UTC

Oh, yeah, go nuts. And install it yourself, they aren't hard.

2018-05-17 00:15:28 UTC

Assuming there's not something weird about getting to them. It's just crimping like 20-50 wires.

2018-05-17 00:16:24 UTC

If you do it right you get a wiring harness, you attach that to the bare leads on the radio, and it just gives you a plug specific for your car. If you do it wrong, you just attach it straight to the car, no nice plug to unplug for the next stereo.

2018-05-17 00:16:57 UTC

Ah i see, yeah i know nothing about cars really

2018-05-17 00:17:32 UTC

Anyway guys, which is better, ATE or ES3??

2018-05-17 00:18:07 UTC

@bentech In a testament to their truly excellent UI design, I had no idea that was even an album in the first place.

2018-05-17 00:18:14 UTC

lmao

2018-05-17 00:18:16 UTC

yeah i hate instagram

2018-05-17 00:18:25 UTC

@Issun <#365921969004216320>

2018-05-17 00:18:32 UTC

I would piss in their face.

2018-05-17 00:18:40 UTC

Under the premise that they wouldn't enjoy it.

2018-05-17 00:19:05 UTC

what

2018-05-17 00:19:18 UTC

@Issun https://images.crutchfieldonline.com/ImageHandler/scale/978/978/products/2010/26/669/x669PP500-o2.jpeg Basically you'll just look at the diagram, match the wires together, and end up with this mess that you plug in to your car. Or skip the plugs and go straight to car, depending on how the last guy did it. I just followed a YouTube vid to remove the dash and then blundered through with some butt crimps.
