I'd say run the laythe slowly, get a nice even heat
Yeah, I'll drop it to 500RPM
good deal
I'll probably half-ass chucking it up, because I don't have anything good to keep from marring it, so I don't want it fucking off on me anyways.
Gf got chink'd on her 30 dollar smartwatch
She feels it'd be morally wrong to demand at least a partial refund for how shit it is
how is it wrong to demand recompense for being chinked?
At least she'd likely get her money back, and they won't ask for it back
The screen is literally worse than a gameboy's
that seems a bit of an embelishment
fuck man, gotta go to work and wait 10 hours to go home
I can discern individual pixels from an arm's length
What do you guys do with these flashlights
Do you blind wild animals or someshit
The North American Urban Ape
use them as toys
Do they last long? Would it be a good idea to strap one as a bike light?

@ChairmanKaga I honestly don't have a good answer for you on the bigger ones. They're just a silly thing that I enjoy. The small ones are great day to day for seeing stuff in comparatively low light.
@Millwood Depends on the light and how high you run it. If you leave the D4 in ice-water you can drain one of the best batteries on the market in under half an hour.
@timsandtoms Is there one that's not amazingly bright and will thus last long? My bike rides are ranging from 15 to 30-40 minutes sometimes. Usually it's just 15 minutes to work.
There's a bunch of great ones. If I had to pick just a single light+accessories for under $100, I'd get a BLF Q8 on coupon for $45ish, $25 worth of Samsung 30Q batteries, and a decent cheap charger.
You can have bright and lasts long. If a light is more focused so that it throws farther, that hotspot in the middle will look brighter than the same light just throwing light in every direction, and the electronicals might have good or terrible efficiencies.
But Q8 is a good balance of everything, really.
And it has a tripod mount.
Sign up on http://www.m4dm4x.com/, they usually have good coupons. It's just a site for a coupla guys to link you to /csg/ sites with referral links, and they also get enough sales that they request coupons from stores.
That looks a little hard to strap on a bike though, looks short
Ideally I'd like something around $20-25 too
Got chargers and batteries?
Not yet, I'm gonna get those for sure
But the light itself being around $25 would be great
BLF A6 maybe? I don't have one, but it's a name I hear a lot, people like it. https://www.banggood.com/BLF-A6-XPL-1600LM-7-4modes-EDC-LED-Flashlight-p-991823.html?cur_warehouse=CN
BLF Q8 is my most-suited light to the task, so I can't speak from experience.
Looks pretty good, thanks.
The /r/flashlight subreddit is good at recommendations too.
All right, I think I'll just get the A6 though. It doesn't need to be really bright ass at all for my use. We get fog from time to time but then I'll just flip out a second light or maybe eventually I'll get the Q8 or a different stronger light.
